Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 20, 2026
This policy explains what personal information Moncton Marketing collects, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and how you can have it removed. It covers this website, our phone service, and the lead forms on it. We follow Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Canada's anti-spam law (CASL).
Who we are
Moncton Marketing is a small business in Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada. We sell and operate an AI phone receptionist service for local trades. This policy is about our own business; when we answer calls on behalf of a client, their privacy policy also applies and we handle the data as their service provider.
What we collect
- If you fill in a form on this site: your name, business name, phone number, email address, the trade you're in, and whatever you write in the message box.
- If you call the demo line or a line we run for a client: the phone number you called from, the time you called, how long the call lasted, a transcript of the call, and the details you give the receptionist — for example the address, the problem, and when you want the job done. Where call recording is enabled, the audio recording is kept so the booking can be checked.
- If you call a line we operate for a client: we collect this information on that client's behalf, so they can do the job you asked for.
We do not collect more than we need to answer the call or reply to the enquiry. We do not buy contact lists, and we do not scrape personal information.
Why we collect it
- To reply to your enquiry and give you a quote.
- To answer the call, qualify the job, book it, confirm it by text, and remind you before it happens.
- To text back a caller who reached voicemail instead of the agent.
- To produce the monthly report our client asks for (counts of calls and jobs, not marketing profiles).
- To meet our own record-keeping obligations under Canadian telecom and anti-spam law.
We do not use your information for anything else, and we do not sell it or rent it to anybody.
Consent
We only send you a business message if you gave us consent. On this website, that consent comes from the checkbox on the form, which you have to tick yourself before you can submit — the form will not send without it. We record that you ticked it, when, and what the wording said.
Where we have an existing business relationship with you, or you published your business contact details conspicuously with no statement that you don't want enquiries, we may contact you about your business under the implied-consent rules in CASL. Business messages we send always identify us and always include a way to say stop.
You can withdraw consent at any time. Reply STOP to any text message, say so on any call, or send us a request using the contact route below. Withdrawing consent stops future messages. It may not be possible to un-send a message that is already in flight.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of service providers to run the service. They handle the data only to provide that service to us:
- Retell AI — runs the voice agent and produces the call transcript.
- Twilio — carries the phone number and sends text messages.
- Cloudflare — hosts this website and serves it to your browser.
- Large-language-model providers — the agent's answers are generated by a hosted AI model, which processes the transcript of the call as it happens.
Some of these providers store or process data outside Canada, including in the United States. If you want to know more about that before you call, ask us.
We will also disclose information if we are legally required to — for example in response to a valid court order or a lawful request from a regulator.
How long we keep it
We keep lead enquiries and call records while we're working with you, and afterwards only as long as we need them to answer questions about a job, meet our record-keeping obligations, and resolve any dispute. Consent records are kept for at least three years, which is what Canadian anti-spam and telemarketing rules require. When a record is no longer needed, we delete it.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we hold about you, and give you a copy;
- correct anything that is wrong;
- delete your information, where we are not required to keep it;
- stop contacting you.
We will answer requests within 30 days. There is no charge for this.
How to reach us
For any privacy question or request — access, correction, deletion, or a complaint — use the contact form on the home page and say it is a privacy request, or call our demo line at (506) 560-4528 and tell the agent you have a privacy question. It will pass the request to a person. We will not ask you for a password, a payment card, or a government ID number over the phone.
If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, and for anti-spam complaints the CRTC's Spam Reporting Centre.
About the AI
The receptionist that answers our phone lines is an artificial intelligence. It identifies itself as an AI at the start of every call, says which business it is answering for, and offers a route to a human. If you would rather not talk to an AI, say so and the call is transferred to a person.
Cookies and tracking
This website does not set advertising cookies and does not run third-party analytics trackers. It is a set of static pages served by Cloudflare, which processes standard request data such as your IP address and user agent to deliver the page and protect the site against abuse.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version is published on this page with a new date at the top. The date above is always the version in force.
